The knowledge of virtual reality devices have been influenced by devices of the late 1980s and early 1990s, with similar head mounted-devices such as Virtuality and the Sega VR-1 headsets, are especially the state of the art in being able to deliver low latency, universal immersive experiences, though with the technology at that time these devices were only able to display low resolution, unrealistic graphics that were troubled with performance issues. Their high price tag has also made this technology relatively constrict, and despite predictions dating back to 1992 stating that virtual reality would become more affordable within the years to come but took decades like in technology. Another gaming technology is one that has everyone from parents to siblings and kids is “Pokemon” and in this science daily release has pretty much explained it all.
Immersive experiences are a part of the way people see life as they would like it to be and are having fun doing it, but as I see it as though it is consuming people in doing their daily lives. I also believe that the kids to have it bad and is controlling their life as they think this is what the world is suppose to do. Back in the day my gaming was “Sonic the Hedgehog” and “Mario Bros.” and that was fun but the games today are just teaching these kids how to shot and kill people they don’t like I believe. This is very much a problem that needs to be addressed.
