Video Sampler Scavenger Hunt #16 – Abstract Shot

Abstract shots are normally used to focus on to emphasize on textures, lines, color, shapes and patterns. Abstract shots can also show a fragmented aspect of a person or subject, while isolating a detail to make it difficult to see without it being wider. Abstract shots can also add extra layers and meaning to a film.

This weeks Abstract Shot relates to exploration and andragogy.  “Exploration” is the act of searching for the purpose of discovery for material or resources. In research , exploration is one of three purposes of empirical research (the other two being description and explanation). The term is commonly used metaphorically. For example, an individual may speak of exploring the Internet, games, etc.

Andragogy ” is a noun  and is used for methods or techniques  to teach adults.  It’s also an Adult Learning technique that has five assumptions from Malcolm Knowles back in late 1900s and is known  for the use of the term  Andragogy  as similar to the adult learning.
