“Animation”

Walt Disney was the first person to add sound into his movie cartoons with the premiere of steamboat Willie in 1928. Then in 1937 he produced the first feature length film snow white and the seven dwarfs. Since animation has developed a lot since the 1900s, the first animated feature film was made by Cohl and George Melies which was made around 1916 to 1918. Some of the earliest animation, which started to appear before 1910 consisted of simple drawing that, was, photographed one at a time. The time that celluloid was introduced was around 1913, which quickly made animation much easier to manage as a complex background could be used instead of making numerous drawings.

When I was a kid I truly loved watching and I was fascinated by cartoons. I was also intrigued by watching  Groucho Marx with my mother when I was about 8 or 9 yrs old. After watching Groucho Marx I really wanted to be an actress or something! Because Groucho Marx was so funny I shared a link with you. I then my favorite Movie of all times is the “Wizard Of OZ” I have truly loved watching that movie for my whole life and when I became a parent I continued watching it  to this day, I could watch it over and over. I always and forever will pay attention to my “Dreams”. Also it has taught me that no matter what I can still dream and when I awake I can and will learn from them. I also could relate to the Lion because I really never had the courage when I was younger, and then I would just go from relating to everyone.

I just moved to Port Angeles about a year and a half ago form Spokane. I'm starting my journey in Photography in Multimedia and I haven't been in school for about 30 years. I never dreamed in a million years that I would be going back to school. I just love being in school.
